I visited Singletree during August. The weather was cool on the ridge top, warm down on the river. The air was clear, and the views were breathtaking! The lodge was quiet and welcoming; the porch & the big breakfast were amazing!! Big value for your money, in my opinion. Hummingbirds were everywhere, and wild turkeys strutted across the lawn like they owned the place! The hosts themselves bring a rather special, laid-back vibe to the whole environment. Fishing the Dan River was soothing and lovely. What a memorable, beautiful weekend!
