Surrounded by stunning vistas of the Blue Ridge mountains, and private trails to the gorgeous Dan River, Singletree is one of the most unusual and lovely locations in North Carolina for guests to steal away from the world. We only fill two guest rooms at the time, (unless a group otherwise requests) thus our clientele enjoy the luxury of having the 5,000 sq foot lodge and grounds to themselves. Above all, we are located in the center of a premier outdoor recreation mecca providing our guests with endless outdoor activity and entertainment. We serve local, organically grown, Non-GMO food and wine, and organic/fair trade coffee. Gluten free, vegetarian menus available. Our sheets are made of organic cotton washed in Charlie’s soap. Guest soap is locally made.
Our B & B is designed and decorated in a fashion we term “Elegantly Rustic.” We have deer heads on the wall adjacent to our collection of fine art; oriental rugs lay across unfinished heart pine floors. The entirety of the Lodge is covered in recycled barn and antique woods. We also offer rental cabins in the NC Mountains near the Inn.
Singletree — Adventure Central! – We are surrounded by our own exclusive hiking trails on our private 1000 acres with 5 miles Riverfront; plus Rock climbing/ kayaking/canoeing/zip lining/horse trail riding/ tubing/ chasing waterfalls/ mtn biking/ lake boating/ swimming, all nearby. (Though if you just want to lie in the field and look at clouds, that’s ok too. )
We are a licensed B & B– It is NOT ok to bring your own food, and the kitchen is off limits to guests. Coolers & food are not allowed in guest rooms. Please read up on B & B etiquette if your are unfamiliar. If you want to cook, rent a cabin!
We often serve wine in the afternoons, however you are welcome to bring all the alcohol you want.
