The Inn at Singletree is not what some folks think of when they hear the words, “Bed & Breakfast.” Our Inn is designed and decorated in a fashion we term “elegantly rustic.” We have deer heads on the wall adjacent to our collection of fine art; oriental rugs lay across unfinished heart pine and poplar floors. The entirety of the Lodge, inside and out, is covered in recycled barn and antique woods. Our bathroom situation is decidedly European. Though we have three full and one half baths, a private bath is not attached to each room.

Each of our six bedrooms is paneled in native poplar or white pine and appointed with sturdy antiques, many of which are Stokes County original primitives. Each room has original art and oriental rugs from around the world.
Outside we have a Montana Style Fire Pit (of native stone) for chilly evenings, and many seating areas for alone time. Though the HammerStern Wilderness Preserve may be closed to the public at various times of the year, there is ample acreage around the Lodge itself for walking and privacy. |
