Hanging Rock State Park offers approx. 24 miles of hiking trails where visitors can walk to the many peaks and 5 waterfalls, cross babbling brooks and streams, clamber up boulders , or just sit and enjoy nature.
The 12 acre lake is open from June until Labor Day. Here, you can swim, fish, kayak, or rent a canoe. The Bath House, built by the conservation corps, is on the National Registry of Historic Places. You will find picnic areas scattered about the park.
The beautiful Visitor center and museum is open daily. There is no admission fee for Hanging Rock State Park.
